Custom Light Sheet Microscope #1

Our homegrown light sheet microscope with photomanipulation module for in vivo imaging. The instrument is outfitted with 2 sCMOS cameras, 5 laser lines, 3 high-NA objectives, a fully motorized 4-axis stage and custom machined specimen chambers. It is housed in our dedicated microscope facility at MGH and was designed by Dr. Mahamdeh.

Our homemade light sheet microscope for in toto imaging. The instrument is outfitted with a sCMOS camera, 1 laser line, 2 objectives, a fully motorized 4-axis stage, and custom 3D-printed specimen chambers (suitable for CLARITY and live specimens). It is housed in our dedicated microscope facility at MGH and was designed by Dr. Mahamdeh.


Zeiss Widefield Fluorescence Microscope

Our inverted fluorescence microscope with custom photomanipulation module for live cell studies. The instrument is outfitted with a sCMOS camera, a epifluorescence LED lamp, 6 high-NA objectives with DIC, a stage-top incubator, and a motorized 3-axis stage. It is housed in our dedicated microscope facility at MGH.

Leica Fluorescence Stereoscope

Our fluorescence stereoscope for embryo dissections, screening and photographing. The scope has a color camera, a epifluorescence LED lamp, a brightfield LED lamp, and 3 long working distance objectives. It is housed in our dedicated microscope facility at MGH.

Zebrafish vivarium

Our lab utilizes a centralized 1,600 sq. ft. core aquaculture facility, housed in the MGH Cardiovascular Research Center and located adjacent to the Yuan lab wet benches. The system includes over 2,000 3.0L tanks and a total housing capacity of 40,000 adult zebrafish.
